Description
Moderate reduction presently dominates the fruit though there is good freshness and verve to the unusually refined flavors relative to what is typical for the genre
a 97% Shiraz cuvee sourced from 120- to 160-year-old vines with 3% finished Viognier added before bottling
both of which are impressive
but unlike vintages of ten years ago
Many of its peers show the inky and concentrated fruit of this hot and dry vintage
Arlaud, Morey Saint Denis Ruchots Size:6x750ml Moderate reduction presently dominates the(from 40+ year old vines). This was especially difficult to read to the high level of gas and reduction. On the plus side there is good vibrancy and detail to the delicious middle weight flavors that possess slightly better fruit tannin balance though the finish is noticeably warm. This too is a bit of a question mark.
