It's still extremely young and has a lactic touch (that blows off with a bit of time in the glass)
and the wine matured for 18 months in 38% new French oak
There is more volume if less power to the more generously proportioned medium-bodied flavors that coat the palate with dry extract that also helps to buffer the moderately firm tannic spine
The 2016 Estate Cuvée has turned out beautifully
This is much more deeply pitched and pungently earth with its array of very fresh red and dark berries that carry whiffs of earth and the sauvage
Finca Allende, Mingortiz other_regions It's still extremely young and(all new French oak) Limpid violet color. Smoke accented red berries, cherry pie, incense and mocha aromas show impressive clarity and spicy lift. Offers expansive, palate staining red fruit preserve and vanilla. Floral pastille flavors flesh out steadily on the back half. The floral note carries through a very long, lively finish that's given shape by gentle, harmonious tannins. Josh Raynolds
