Agave isthmensis Ohi Raijin Fukurin Nishiki Multicolor Flowering Plants Arizona at 4Agave isthmensis 'Ohi Raijin Fukurin Nishiki' is a white edged form of the dwarf butterfly agave which can only be found along the Mexican coast of Oaxaca near the Isthmus of Tehuantepec (hence the species name). For us, the individual rosettes never exceed 6" tall x 6" wide. The offsets come from the trunk and not from underground runners like many other agave species. The white leaf edge is strongest on the more mature leaves. Because of its small
