The piece is unmarked but has the distinctive unglazed wedge feet that instantly identifies a piece as being made by American Bisque. It is finished in a tan brown glaze there looks like the raised fittings" were painted overglaze as there is remnant paint. The pail is made to look like wood while the lid has a lattice finish with a
