Description

This was a massive tasting with the team at Clos du Caillou and we went through each of their cuvees going back more than a decade

with excellent clarity to its pear and orange flavors

there is very little in the way of Cannubi sensuality or character

there is a very subtle hint of volatile acidity that adds lift to the mildly woody but exuberantly spicy dark berry fruit nose

but in 2015 its Cannubi from the village of Barolo seems even finer
