The band was a decade into their career, a career which has continued to last until the present day, and were still releasing records with major label Elektra after their stints with Slash and Dangerhouse. They did have some lineup changes, though, at that point, with founding member Billy Zoom being replaced by Blasters guitarist Doug Alvin.
