as well as overflowing aromas and flavors of creme de cassis

it needs short-term cellaring but should be just about immortal in the cellar

The finish is soft and luscious

which follow through to a full body

Giuseppe Mascarello, Barolo Villero Vintage:2011 Already disarmingly pleasurable to drinkModerately saturated medium red. Perfumed aromas of cherry, strawberry, coffee, mocha and flowers. Rich, suave and concentrated; nicely horizontal on the palate, but with its flesh cut byt slightly spiky acidity. The broad finish features dusty tannins and lovely floral persistence. Seems a tad rustic today and in need of patience. Stephen Tanzer
